I started Steady America in Dallas because I wanted to make civic media the way I believe it should be made: patient with the record, clear with the audience, and independent of partisan pressure. I am building the company from the ground up, leading its programming, research, production, and brand direction. The work starts close to home, with Dallas as the place from which I look at public institutions, trust, power, and the American experiment.
